Yeah, if I could pick up a LF Phil for an OK price that would be ideal, but not essential. The pair of wheels I ran last cross season were just some Formula hubs laced 3x with Sapim Race spokes and alloy nipples to Origin8 SL18 rims (hold your laughter) and they've been great wheels. I've beat the snot out of them and they've been flawless. The rims themselves are 23mm wide, weight almost the same as Archetypes and I haven't noticed any difference in durability. That says to me the quality of the assembly and good spokes count as much as hubs/rims.
