My mother passed from a cancer that generally only affects elderly adults and small children. Like most of her generation, given a preference, she'd say to focus on cancer prevention/cure in the children. Which is what we're up to.
I'm looking forward to the Saturday ride with the C&V crew. The forecast looks ideal.
