It is good to see alternative drive trains on the market.

I think about making my fat bike a 1x. It's a Salsa Mukluk 1 with Sram Grip Shift 2x9. Well I won't yet, I'm simply going to get rid of the Grip Shifters because the rubber on the shifter grip is melted into a tar-like substance. (I wrap some grip tape on them which actually has kept them going for years!)

But after the next cassette wears down it will need an up grade.

I've got Microshift on another bike and it works well. It is a 1x conversion using a barcon shifter. That shifter goes through a huge arc of travel which o didn't anticipate. I do miss the Shimano shifter, but not the front derailleur.
