So, during my recumbent decade, I purchased numerous sets of Shimano DuraAce 9 speed bar end shifters because they were junk and would break frequently. They would come with downtube shift boss adapters for terminating shift housing. I had no use for them and probably threw away at least 6 sets when we moved.
Now, I need a pair for my current bike project.
