Last couple days been riding with my backpack instead of pannier, it has a phone pocket on the front of one of the straps, it's sorta nice to play music through the speaker. It doesn't sound very good and it's not very loud but better than fussing with earbuds. Unless you use noise isolating earbuds you're never gonna get sound quality on your bike anyway. I don't care to be quite that isolated, but apple earbuds are a pretty good compromise.
