They are great. I bought gen 1 and they required tweaking and calibration, but a great value and worked. I didn't like the pods on the Vectors. They use the Keo (not Shimano) cleats.
I've never heard of Assiomas requiring tweaking and calibration. Prior to the auto zero function, you just performed a zero offset like any other PM. What kind of tweaking are you talking about?
