The frame work is a lot more than just painting as you have to completely strip the frame but I like the look. I'm currently using Rustoleum 2x Ultra cover enamel but one day plan to get a frame clear powder coated to see how that looks. The spray enamel seems to hold up far better than spray lacquer.
