Ok.. but then you'd be looking for a bike shop that could help with maintenance. For purchase, at that price level.. my fwiw recommendations are in no particular order, but for brand variety are NYC Velo (downtown location) or StrictlyBicycles.. trip over the GWB to Ft Lee required. If you want a Trek, the the company store on W. 96th is pretty good.
