I've thought of making "bike baskets" with Balsa Wood. Glue the balsa together cross grain and it becomes extremely strong. It's light to. I'd custom the size to fit a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk. Attach to the rear rack. I'll get to it some day. Some rainy day....
