O-B yep that climb up 38 to Onyx can take the wind out of your sails alright. I've often wondered how easier it would be at lower elevation.
Funny the short punchier climbs up & around the golf course & zoo towards the end of the route are much easier for me as they're only @ 6500' ASL or so!
