I have not yet been tarred and feathered for putting modern electronic shifting from Campagnolo onto a 1974 Schwinn Paramount, but I still retain all components (minus a working battery unit and those wheels...and the crankset, which I'd replace anyway) and remember it fondly. Before the "new" old battery unit died. It'd take the better part of $500-600 to get it back to this level, something I am a bit unwilling to do. Still, it was a really fun setup and I still really like the modern era of Campagnolo Ergo shifters.
