Also, what chainring bolt setup are you using? I recall the Omniums having a really thick crank spider requiring double (as opposed to single) chainring bolts. Do you use Doubles or Singles? If doubles, how do you keep the backs from spinning? If singles, are you OK with the 2 threads of purchase you get with the bolts?
I haven't taken a close look at any of the Navigators, but a couple other guys at the track seem to think it's the same mold.

I raced it tonight. I'm happy with the quality of it for what I paid, and it felt solid underneath me.

I just use the Origin8 single speed steel chainring bolts. They definitely catch more than two threads, and I've never had any trouble with them. That being said, it's been a few years since I've used the stock 48t chainring which appears a bit thicker than the Salsa 50t and Dura Ace 51t that stay on the bike year round.
