Odd response from pedestrian on trail
Went for a brisk ride on a local rails-to-trails this morning. As is my habit, I slow down and ring my bike bell upon approaching pedestrians from behind. I have one of those classic sounding bells - Brrring-brrring. So I sounded my bell as I approached one gentleman and darn if he didn't pull out his cell phone and say "hello?" He then chuckled and smiled sheepishly as I passed.
