On my mtn bike commuter, I cut Titec Hellbent medium rise bars. About an 1 1/4 inch off either end to narrow them down for city use.
Then throw on Ergon grips and nice bar ends, wrapped.
Gives me 4 different positions for my hands.
Very nice set up, just takes a little work.
