Interesting. The few times I've had to take prednisone, I absolutely hated how it made me feel. The last time a doc wanted to put me on it, I pushed back and after a bit, he said it wasn't absolutely necessary.
Many docs overdose. You could try one 2mg tab/day, taper to 1mg. They make them that small for a reason.
