I will be 65 in October , towards the end of the month. I am paying 1200 a month right now for health insurance here in California. I can't wait , my broker said I will have better coverage than I currently have for less than 300 a month with a supplemental policy. That is good news for sure. That was precisely my situation almost 4 years ago. Medicare + Supplement G totals about $300/month each for my wife and me. My private insurance was just under the $1200/month (each) you are now paying.
