Yep but I buy them at the farmers market, and they haven’t travelled far. Picked on Sat and then brought an hour down the road and sold at my local farmers market on Sunday, year round.

Theyre sold uncovered in little cardboard half pint boxes and if I store them that way in the fridge they last a week. Sometimes I get mold and lose some towards the end of the week.

Strawberries are sold in little pint boxes. I’ve found they store best in the fridge if you cover them. But they too last a week. We get local strawberries Febish to Oct/Novish.

Berries are so perishable that they key thing is to get them very recently picked unless you’re eating them right away, that way they last long enough for you to eat them before they die. There’s lots of negatives to SoCal life the the Berry situation is not one of them.
