My last two bikes were both used carbon... work great. And those weren't used, they were factory blems.
Fancy people tend to buy and sell carbon wheels all the time because they have to have the latest and greatest, usually nothing wrong with their castoffs. Go look on the road forum for a guy named trek mogul and enjoy his contributions to the cycling world.
