I name my cars (true), but never my bikes; just "The Ridley", "The Niner", etc. But unlike my cars, I sometimes think my bikes have feelings. My Ridley LOVES being ridden hard and dangerously - that was my old crit bike. My gravel bike likes to chill & grind out miles. My Niner is timid and runs away from danger; I won't do anything technical anymore.
