I am a big fan of the Paul Components MiniMoto for rim brakes w/ short pull road brake levers. I switched from Avid Single Digit w/ Travel Agents to the MiniMoto on our triple tandem and am very happy with the increase in stopping power. They're pricey but worth every penny.
