Not much riding recently for a variety of reasons, but got out before the next storm two days ago. One of my standard routes, riding through a nice road with big estates, vineyards, etc and I hear a high pitched engine whine on the road behind me. I expect to have one of those modded compact Japanese cars blow past me but not the case! He passed me very carefully. I was hoping to catch him (or her, but probably him) at a driveway or stop along the way because I was riding my white/blue Carrera and my Italia jersey. Would have made a good pic. I saw it again at stoplight going the other way on a busy road, so I waved and said a
Viva Italia! to myself.
