Motor-paced (AKA stayer) bikes had reversed forks & smaller front wheel to allow closer distance to the motorcycle. The geometry looked weird & unstable but somehow it worked. The commercial is weird.though. In past decades tv commercials with bike riders usually showed them wobbling about like newbies, now the actors usually look to be fairly skilled.
