sore nipples are very common in distance running.... lol i looked this topic up because i have really painful nipples after an 8.5 mile run last night.
runners often put tape or band-aids over their nipples. some people find that vaseline helps too.
women runners usually don't have to worry about this because the form-fitting nature of sports bras allow the fabric to move along together with the skin; men on the other hand wear shirts, singlets, jerseys, etc which are more loose-fitting, providing plenty of opportunity for abrasive rubbing.
