I am 53. Have been bicycling for about 45 years. I am a commuter of about 20 miles per day, and try to ride on weekends so I get about 200 miles per week in. Have a Novara hybrid bike, and a new Atlantis.
I tour when I can, usually taking two to three weeks in the summer. I do take vitamins, am trying to lose another 20-30 lbs this year, currently using the South beach diet, which is working very well. The wife and I are into bed and breakfast touring as well. Our ultimate tour, which we hope to do in a couple of summers from now, is to B&B the northern Italian countryside for a few weeks.
