I do know that their very first integrated headset frames tried to use both Campy (45ºx45º bearings) and Cane Creek (36ºx45º bearings) and neither worked properly. Later they machined the seats to use only Cane Creek bearing cartridges. You might be able to get the specifications from Cane Creek.
By 2005 they returned to press-in cup headsets as on my 2005 Firenza and 2006 Tuscany. I'm glad they did!
Do you know if it varied by frame model or was that across the board (integrated vs. external)?
