I've been lucky so far and also been fully vaccinated over the summer. COVID is ripping through our schools at the moment and our 9 year old tested positive at the weekend - with almost no symptoms. It was just a matter of time. But most adults here in the UK are vaccinated, which is keeping hospitalisations and death rate relatively low. However, one of my wife's work colleagues and his wife decided NOT to get vaccinated and now he's finally caught it too. Hopefully he won't get very sick and recover quickly, but I have to say it was a pretty stupid decision not to get vaccinated a few months ago when he had the chance. I'm going to get my 3rd booster jab asap as the virus is lurking everywhere at the moment.
