More info is needed on the actual crankset and bottom bracket on your bike. Internet specs show that bike having a "wide axle" version of the Rival crankset. Depending on the bottom bracket, you may not be able to use a standard Rival crankset. Adding a spacer is not going to make the axle the right length.

You can probably just put the 50/34 chainrings on your original crankset.
