Bikes: A few older US made Cannondales, a modern Soma Saga (no longer made, alas!), and one gifted crabon Specialized. Never enough.

I also found Giro shoes to be way too narrow for my feet. Pretty sure I tried a wider (maybe hv?) version of their shoes but found same issue as you, painfully so. Shimano and Lake (in wide) are all I use now, the latter for winter use especially.
