So, yes, I now have more invested in the fenders than I do in the bike.
I am going to put a rack on the back and this will now be my daily commuter -- after a couple of shakedown rides I'm putting my Trek 520 up for sale. Am going to ride all winter as is and then put bar-end shifters on it and (likely) change out the Biopace chainrings. (Changes to date: new tires, tubes, brake cables, brake pads, stem, handlebar tape, brake levers, brake hoods).
What kind of rear rack should go on this?
