I'll readily agree that there are instances where it is necessary to brake even when conventional wisdom says otherwise. If the corner is in a steep downhill section there's sometimes no other choice. I'm assuming that is at least one situation you meant.

However in those instances I would argue that it would be wise to keep one's speed so low that one never nears the limit of traction.
