My only liver experience was when I was a fry cook at Chicken Express. Did not like them at all. The marinade is salt, MSG, and garlic, and then they were fried in beef fat. Probably the best possible way to make them not so liverish, but they're still gross .

The worst part about them is that they would pop in the oil, so we had a pan that we would put over the fryer to block hot oil from spraying us. Every once in a while you would forget to put it on and get showered in a spray of previously ~350° oil. I got burned so much at that job I barely even noticed it anymore.

I do like their gizzards though
