Was thinking of a ride today of 20 miles or so but the temp was in the high 30s F and I chickened out. It is amazing how Narragansett Bay and the nearby ocean modifies temperature to warmer than surrounding area in winter and cooler in summer. I can remember as a young man of 20 y.o. walking out in flip flops into 6 inches of snow. How the mighty have fallen.
