I agree with what @
jlaw said.
I live in a little podunk hicksville and we just don't have old bikes like this. As a consequence, I've never tried enough bikes to know what a good fit feels like. If I lived in a big place like Chicago with all those bikes I'd spend a couple months trying a bike every weekend, because then I'd know.
