I use a reflective wrapper around my pants legs to keep that from happening. I also tuck my laces into into my shoes to keep them from catching on the front gears. Walmart has a version of those wrappers from Bell but those suck, I wouldn't recommend those. REI has a pretty good one with velcro.

oh. looking at the pic i took, it's clearly a 700 not a 720. unsure what the difference is. google did not immediately tell me.
Somewhat heavier frame. Somewhat different components. But if you liked it riding 15 miles I'd say you're fine.
