Rain should be a setting though. I had to get off my bike to fiddle with the trainer a bit and while I was doing that it started raining. I almost didn't get back on my bike. It does seem that the rain usually doesn't last long. I don't mind riding at night.
I just saw the badge for 25 times up the volcano and I'm not likely to earn that. Not enough positive reinforcement.
