Glad it looks like they identified the offender, but this infuriates me:

"On an unrelated matter, Lucas has a court date in Wake County on April 26 for charges of driving while impaired and driving with a revoked license, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and resisting a police officer, court records show. Lucas was arrested in Wake County on March 10 and registered 0.20 in blood-alcohol content. Under North Carolina law, a person is considered legally impaired with a 0.08 blood-alcohol content."

<On soapbox>

The law should be changed so that the punishment for hit and run is no less than the punishment the offender would receive were they found to be DUI when the collision occurred. Anything else encourages the offender to hit, run, and hide long enough to sober up. That is NOT ok.
