While my daughter was at softball practice at nearby Brookside Park, I did laps around the Rose Bowl loop. It was cold...and dark...and lonely. I got in a good workout of some FTP tempo spiced up with a few hard intervals, but it was a mental struggle to get a 20mi/1hr ride completed. A cycling friend (nickname K-Mart) has a guideline that he won't ride if the temperature is less than his age. This was definitely under the K-Mart line. I should have done a Zwift session in my garage.
