My wife mentions that frequently. I don't seem to be able to take the gradual approach and get sought after results. I will happily expend energy during a hilly ride. I do not intend to do any more intervals. I have not one good experience with it over the past 3 years. In the past I just got sick. Now I'm getting jaw pain. I see no value in continuing down that path. I enjoy riding too much to sacrifice it foolishly. But thanks for the advice.
