Still fighting my insurance to get to the ankle surgeon I want. I keep an eye on a Facebook Group for ankle replacements and seeing what people are doing post replacement gives me hope that that is a viable alternative. But if not, I can't imagine having the ankle fused is significantly more limiting than the AFO brace I wear currently.

Incidentally, my new right knee is doing well. Still some muscle weakness from some atrophy over the last couple years. But still at 138 ROM. Pain free is the single best reason to do it...
