Understand. I am not at all impressed with the MTB thing, simply because so many say how fun it is, and can't wait to get back to it in 6 months. You know. After they heal up.
I see MTBers in videos and they seem to be having fun, but after a few rides on dirt with the hybrid bike I bought for commuting years ago, I realized that I have issues with not being in control of both wheels at all times.
