On holidays today and decided to visit a new bank branch. They closed an old branch where I had a fairly dormant account and a safety deposit box which I thought was empty, and merged it with another branch. I also hadn't activated a new bank card within a few months of receiving it, and had to get it activated on site, so I went there to check it out the safety deposit box (yep, empty - I might close that sucker) and activate the bank card.
