Met "James" today in St Catharines, Ontario and he sold me a rather rough Raleigh Gran Sport with a Stronglight triple, for the cost of the triple.
James also has an older Coppi. Pictures not that great for detail. Can say chrome on forks in really far gone so either a re-chrome ($$$) or repaint in future, though haven't tried the aluminum foil trick. He's unsure about a sale due to that magical N+1 versus N-1 factor. I sympathize as I too have that issue....
Bike is older, has 120mm rear and cottered cranks. IIRC has some basic Campy. Not sure campy stuff as not up on their groupsets. Crankset might be
Spécialités TA (?) or something else as I've never seen cottered Campy cranks. Shifters were band-on, mounted on downtube, actual shifters not present on mount and unsure if he still has them. Sorry I didn't get my own photos but he had to get back to work.
