Just finished rebuild on my Centurion Elite 12. Also champion #1 tubing. Rides great as it did in 1984. Did make some concessions to todays technology: Carbon aero fork, triple X 8 drivetrain, new seatpost, bars & stem, shifters,etc. Total $340 invested. Weight just over 22 lbs. When it is time for a new bike it will be steel or steel/carbon.
