Reminds me, I rode my track bike a few days ago and almost had to grab some brake on a downhill. I hit 28mph on a ~72" gear which comes out to about 130rpm. I had not ridden a fixed wheel in several months so it was a little frightening
Sounds fun!
This made me come back to the little idea in the back of my mind that won't go away - a light, SS, disc brake bike, possibly with gravel-type clearance. So dumb, but so appealing to me.
