here is the Caravan in the Basque region of Spain, Pyrenees trip in 93. You mentioned that the Expedition was sturdier than the Caravan frame overall. I ride it once in a blue moon, it has a really nice spring to it over rough stuff, but I'd have to say that the Tricross I got to replace is more solid with about 40lbs on it, but like I said, I have a soft spot for it and the memories of trips, so it hangs in the garage.
