You saw a 10pt buck on the Mohawk Hudson Trail! No ****!

Years ago I was at camp which has a fish farm. So, I'm riding on the wooden plank dock which runs down the center of a pond which holds the fish. At the end of the pond the dock runs up onto land. There are trees right up to the edge of the water.

Said dock is only about 3 feet wide, so I'm not really paying any attention to what's in front of me, my concentration being on not riding the bike off into the pond. About 20 feet from the end of the dock I look up and there are 3 deer - a mother and 2 fawns standing just inside the trees. Now, we all know what kind of traction we get on damp wood! I skidded to a stop, barely keeping the thing on the dock.

They looked at me, I looked at them. Then they wandered off.

It was cool.

But not as cool as a 10 point buck.
