Injury
Hey Everyone.
I've been having some lower back pain and my doc said I have an inflammed sacroiliac joint (between the hip and the pelvis). I've turned a corner with the back pain, but doc says no jogging, only cycling, swimming, and other exercises more gentle on the back (I have a history of back issues from childhood). She also suggested applying heat and getting a massage.
So, I'm going to meet with my physical trainer to assess my current situation, and decide what to do next (that is, get some kind of clearance from someone with know-how before I start riding). I'm also looking into the swimming and massage part.
This has been a discouraging setback as I was just starting to get some momentum and exercise almost every day. But I'm trying to get the momentum back. Thanks for letting me write.
