I've been using a Performance Hurricane Essential floor pump for years of trouble-free service. It looks like it might be a rebadged Serfas pump. Has a "smart head" with thumblock, pressure gauge with a rotatable dial marker, metal base and barrel and plastic handle. The current version of the Essential doesn't seem to have the smart head: you have to move up to the Team HP to get it. The latter is currently on sale for $45 (normally $50).
Having worked at Performance, these are deceptively awesome floor pumps.
There have been 2 sitting in the shop for about 8 months now, no problems. Have one for myself, no problems. Never saw one returned with any issues either.
If you're looking to spend $100, you'd get a nicer one for that money, but to anyone else looking at this thread looking to save, the Hurricane Essential is great.
