After spending time in the hospital and determining it wasn't broken, the next day I took folly advice and allowed the trainer to tape it up then did an indoor track running workout with the long sprinter group. I started out fast walking with a crutch, then morphed into jogging and eventually was able to run as the swelling went down. Post workout I thought I had a miracle cure and cut the taped off and went to the showers. By the time I finished showering the swelling came back and I literally crawled back to the lockers.
