Ditto rogerstg. You may want to search for a "Dia Compe brake adjusting barrel and nut". These run about $2 each, or $12 for a bag of 10. The narrow ones are 6mm, threaded/slotted, with 7mm and 8mm diameters as well in different depths for your braze-on rear hanger bridge or for mtn bike brake levers. Is your braze-on hanger threaded inside?
